Purchase orders are generated based on current stock min/max levels, back orders, and supplier ordering levels; resulting purchase orders can be edited before submission to the supplier. Bulk Update +
Managing product updates can be challenging, add in variants with styles, colors, etc. and the workload becomes time consuming within a GUI. In other cases changes may be provided by a 3rd party via external files. Having a means to work with data outside of the ActiveSeries database, using applications such as Microsoft Excel, reduces work load and speeds product updates. Bulk Update allows for the manipulation of all product detail levels, including unlimited custom fields, whereby data can then be exported or imported. Base Excel templates are also provided to enable quick use of the software. Filters are also available on the export routines offering a preview of the data prior to saving it. On the import process a test mode is available to validate before any live system updates are processed.
